Forsyth County accepting applications for School Audit Committee

Forsyth County Commissioners are accepting applications for the new WS/FCS Audit Advisory Committee through Feb. 23 at 5 p.m.

Applicants must be Forsyth County residents and have at least five years of experience in one or more of these areas: public accounting or finance; experience with audits of similar size and type of organization, risk management, business management, or legal compliance. Members may not be employed by WS/FCS or have business ties with the district.

Forsyth County Commissioners will vote on which three applicants they will appoint in their March 5 Meeting.

The WS/FCS Board of Education is also accepting applications for its four appointments to the committee on the WS/FCS website.
