Get Drawn to the Library with the 2025 Adult Library Card Design Contest
The Forsyth County Public Library is celebrating 2025's National Library Week by inviting adults to design new library cards. From now through Friday, June 6, adults 18+ are invited to get drawn to the library by drawing what they love about books, reading, and the library by creating new library card designs. The designs can feature:
- Original slogans and/or drawings about books and reading
- Favorite books or subjects
- Reasons for loving the library
- Images from the artists' imaginations
Artists may enter as many designs as they would like. Complete rules and entry forms are available at any Forsyth County Public Library branch and North Carolina Museum of Art, Winston-Salem. Entry forms are also available online. Please print entry forms on white paper.
Several winners will be selected, and the new library cards will be available in September as part of Library Card Sign-Up Month.
Good luck, and happy drawing!
