Backyard Wildlife - Discerning the Benefits and Managing the Nuisances

Learn about the native wildlife that you may see in your backyard on Thursday, May 29* at 2 p.m. at Backyard Wildlife: Friends or Foes? at the Lewisville Branch Library. This workshop will cover the identification and behavior of common native wildlife in Forsyth County, different ways particular mammals are beneficial to our local ecosystem, and best management practices for managing backyard spaces in a way that is beneficial to wildlife and humans.

Methods for preventing damage to homes and gardens by wildlife will also be included in this final program of the series Wild Places in Backyard Spaces that is presented by Rebecca Craps of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center.
