How to Buffer the Impact of Toxic Stress in Children - Cancelled
Early childhood stress and trauma can result in negative lifelong outcomes in learning, behavior and health. Join us for this training session for adults presented by health educators from Partners Health Management on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1-3 p.m. at the Lewisville Branch Library. Participants will learn about interventions that can be taken to help buffer the impact of toxic stress, as well as ways to help children learn calming and coping skills, specifically Limbic Calming and Cortical Coping.
