Make and Eat Delicious Food in Our Healthy Cooking for Teens Series

Teens can hone their cooking skills and expand their repertoire of healthy recipes through the Forsyth County Public Library’s Healthy Cooking for Teens series. The programs are for teens ages 12-18 and open to beginner and experienced cooks alike. The series is being hosted by five Library branches, so everyone can find a convenient branch, date, and time.

Branch Date and Time
Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center First Tuesdays at 5 p.m.
Forsyth County Central Library Second Tuesdays from 5-6:30 p.m.
Carver School Road Branch Library Second Thursdays at 3 p.m.
Clemmons Branch Library Third Tuesdays at 5 p.m.
Southside Branch Library Fourth Tuesdays at 5 p.m.

The series is taught by professional chef Floyd Davis. January’s recipe is hummus, and future recipes include chicken salad, grilled cauliflower steaks and more.

Visit the library’s online calendar for the full schedule, a program waiver that must be turned in, and registration information for certain branches. Bon appétit!
