In honor of our 2024 OTSP community read,The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb, the Lewisville Branch Library will be showing three mystery films based on the popular books by the “Queen of Crime” herself, Dame Agatha Christie.
The features will be the most recent renditions of Murder on the Orient Express (2017), Death on the Nile (2022), and A Haunting in Venice (based on the Christie novel Hallowe'en Party) (2023). Kenneth Branagh directed and stars in each film as Detective Hercule Poirot, the master detective who continually finds himself tasked with solving the mysteries put before him. These films include an array of characters, shocking secrets, and whodunit moments.
Join us each evening as we enjoy this crime-solving ride with Christie’s most beloved character. For more information about On the Same Page, The Violin Conspiracy or our upcoming events, please click here.
