Learn how to support native pollinators and wildlife in your own backyard
Would you like to learn how to create landscape areas that support native pollinators and wildlife? Join us at the Lewisville Branch Library on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. for Native Landscapes, the first in a series of gardening programs offered through the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center.
Extension Agent Rebecca Craps will explain how to evaluate existing plants in your yard, how to identify potential invasive species, and how to manage or remove them. Rebecca will also cover which native species are best for different spaces, how to plan and design a native landscape space, and how to create a timeline for planting.
Native Landscapes is the first of four classes in the Wild Places in Backyard Spaces Series.
Registration is required. You may register for Native Landscapes
