A primary goal of the Triad Woodcarvers Club is to promote the art and joy of carving as well as to educate carvers through group carving sessions, seminars, classes, and other activities. This nonprofit club was formed in 2018 and is based in Winston-Salem. Starting with 18 members, it has grown to currently over 100 members. There is also a junior membership for youth ages 13 and older. The club hosts weekly meetings at the Miller Park Community Center in Winston-Salem where members can participate in free wood carving sessions.
