Guerrini is a self-taught artist who says, "I have always been someone who, when I see something created and I love the results, wants to try it myself." She also has explored many artistic disciplines including drawing, floral design, jewelry making, sewing, and knitting. A nurse by trade, she says, "Traditionally, nursing has been described as an art, so I suppose I'm just trying as many artistic endeavors that I can experience!"

Her work with acrylic pouring has a bit of a deeper story, according to Guerrini. "...After the passing of my sister in the Spring of 2012, I intensely searched for an outlet for my grief. I fully immersed myself in flow painting that summer, experimenting with color composition and the reaction of different materials and paints together. I found satisfaction in seeing my ideas come to life as I honed my skills in making a flowing, clean, attractive visual that pleased me aesthetically."

Guerrini tells that she was 'discovered' by family and friends as they walked through her workshop and saw the wall of completed works and encouraged her not to hide her art but show it for more to appreciate. That led to a friend who connected her with the Lewisville Branch in early 2019 where she had her first show. "I have since shown and sold multiple pieces to so many through this wonderful relationship with the library staff and visitors," says Guerrini.
