ecoEXPLORE: Herpetology

Join us at the Lewisville Branch as members of the Greensboro Science Center’s ecoEXPLOREs share with children and families the importance of studying and caring for amphibians (frogs, newts, salamanders) and reptiles (snakes, lizards, turtles). They will also explain why these animals are so important to our local ecosystem. This program is recommended for grades K-8. Herpetology is the branch of zoology that studies amphibians and reptiles.

The ecoEXPLORE is an initiative of the North Carolina Arboretum and is an incentive-based citizen science program for children in grades K-8.
