The Yadkin Riverkeeper: The Past, Present, and Future of the Yadkin

Monday, March 21 at 6 p.m.
*Lewisville Room - Mary Alice Warren Community Center*
7632 Warren Park Dr., Lewisville, NC 27023

Come hear what the folks at the Yadkin Riverkeeper organization (YRK) are doing to protect and enhance the river, including how we can help keep it clean and how we can access and enjoy the river. The Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin is a precious resource in our county and state with a long history of human activity. Edgar Miller, executive director and current Riverkeeper, will share how YRK aims to educate, advocate for, and take action to keep the water clean.

Don't you want to know how you can enjoy and protect this historic water supply? Join in this local educational experience. You will also have the opportunity to see the new Mary Alice Warren Community Center located off Lewisville-Clemmons Rd.

Registration is recommended. To register, click here, call the Lewisville Branch at 336-703-2940, or email Sue deGuzman (deguzmse@forsyth.cc).
