4-H Crime-Solving Insects? Oh, my!

CANCELED

Come find out in the CSI: Crime Solving Insects workshop on July 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Forsyth Counter Center. CSI: Crime Solving Insects is a hands-on lesson in which 4-H’ers evaluate fake evidence from four animal death scenarios. It does not require any biological background or knowledge, all information necessary will be provided during the workshop. For each scenario, participants will be given a sample of simulated maggots that were collected from a fictional corpse and are asked to figure out the postmortem interval in which the insects developed and determine whether foul play was involved. This workshop is for youth in grades 6-12.

Youth must register in 4-H Online by clicking on events on the left, then clicking on Crime Solving Insects and following the steps to register. Don't have an account in 4-H Online? Create one now.
