Bee Gardens

The greatest contribution of bees and other pollinators is the pollination of nearly three-quarters of the plants that produce 90% of the world's food. A third of the world's food production depends on bees, i.e. every third spoonful of food depends on pollination. This month's kits help us do our part in feeding the bees and feeding the world.

Cloth: What it says!

For thousands of years, cloth has been used by many cultures around the world as a way to tell stories, remember history, depict environments, and teach. Using objects from the Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest University’s collections, teens will hear a few weaving myths and learn about different types of cloth and their importance. As part of the program, teens will create their own weaving.
