Detention Officer II Charles G. Palmer, Jr.

Detention Officer II Charles G. Palmer, Jr. began his Law Enforcement career with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in 2001. Detention Officer Palmer earned his promotion as Detention Officer II on July 13, 2019.

During his career, Detention Officer Palmer earned a Life-Saving Award, 15 Years of Service Commendation Bar, and the Military Service Commendation Bar.

During his career, Detention Officer Palmer earned the North Carolina Detention Officer General Certification, and the North Carolina Detention Officer Probationary Certification.

Detention Officer II Palmer served in the U.S. Marine Corps, E-6 Staff Sergeant from January 1986 to October 1990. He received several commendations and honors in the Armed Forces.
