Check out Free Pass to Reynolda House Museum of American Art from the Library

Have guests in town for the weekend and wonder what you can do to entertain them? Check out a free pass to the Reynolda House Museum of American Art from the Library! The pass provides free general admission for two adults, a value of $36.

Reynolda House has partnered with the Library to offer free passes to the Reynolda House Museum of American Art. These free passes can be checked out with a valid Forsyth County Public Library card from any library location for up to seven days and are good for general admission for two adults during regular museum hours. Children and student admission is always free.

Due to the limited capacity of Reynolda House, FCPL customers are encouraged to reserve their tickets online by visiting this webpage.

More than a hundred years ago, in December 1917, Katharine Smith Reynolds and her husband Richard Joshua (R.J.) Reynolds moved into their newly finished estate at 2250 Reynolda Road, a few miles from the downtown Winston-Salem headquarters of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Fifty years later, the magnificent 60-room bungalow, set amid landscaped gardens and rolling hills, opened to the public as a museum dedicated to American art.

Today Reynolda House Museum of American Art, Reynolda Gardens, and Reynolda Village attract thousands of visitors each year. While Reynolda House is hosting art exhibitions, residents who present the library pass will be granted admission. The museum encourages residents to check the Reynolda Housewebsite for further information on current exhibitions and hours.
