Hay Bale Decorating Fun at Walkertown Branch Library

4-H and Walkertown Library Bring the Fair to You!

With all the in-person event restrictions happening this fall, 4-H found a way to continue their hay bale decorating competition without the State Fair. This year, the 4-H Hay Bale Decorating Fun contest is happening around North Carolina, with an entry at Walkertown Branch Library!

Presenting the Hofeling Family

This year, Walkertown Branch Library is excited to host the hay bales decorated by the Hofeling family. To bring in more families and increase access to the contest, the hay bales this year are a bit smaller than they would have been at the fair. The Hofeling family decided to decorate three bales to the right of the library building.

Good Luck, Hofeling Family!

We wish the best of luck to the Hofeling Family in the decorating contest. If you would like to see the hay bale display for yourself, Walkertown Branch Library would be happy to see you as well. You can find more information about our new hours by visiting our website.
