"Three Years" Art Exhibit by Betty Tsyor
Betty was born in Siler City, NC, eighty-six years ago. She married Ralph Tysor at the age of eighteen and lived in several places including Washington state and Charlotte. Ralph and Betty had two children, Gale and Greg, before settling in Kernersville for forty years.
During her time in Kernersville, Betty owned a furniture manufacturing company called Salem Square making 18th-century mahogany tables. After her beloved husband died, Betty moved to Lewisville to be near her daughter and three grandchildren.
Betty started painting three years ago and has taken lessons for the past two years. She is an avid reader, enjoys gardening and singing in the Shallowford Presbyterian choir...but her true love is painting.
Betty's art exhibit will be showcased at the Lewisville Branch Library during the months of September and October. Please stop by and take a peek at her extraordinary talent.
