August Family Films at the Lewisville Branch

Beat the heat this summer with our Family Films series at the Lewisville Branch Library. We'll be showing "SUPER" fun films every Monday in August. Participants are welcome to bring snacks (no nuts please). Fun for the whole family!

"Shazam!" (PG-13)
Monday, Aug. 5 at 2 p.m.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's case, by shouting out one word - SHAZAM - this streetwise fourteen-year-old foster kid can turn into the grown-up superhero Shazam. Produced by Warner Bros. Run-time is 132 minutes.

"Avengers: Infinity War" (PG-13)
Monday, Aug. 12 at 2 p.m.

Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Starring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, and Djimon Hounsou. Produced by Marvel. Run-time is 124 minutes.

"Avengers: Endgame" (PG-13)
Monday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m.

After the devastating events of "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos' actions and restore balance to the universe. Produced by Marvel. Run-time is 180 minutes.
