The North Carolina 4-H Forestry Contest was held September 10 at the Schenck Memorial Forest in Raleigh, NC. Forsyth County had fifteen participants. Forsyth County teams won the junior and senior team competitions. The senior team earned the right to once again advance to the National competition the end of July in Jackson's Mill, West Virginia.

In the individual senior competition, Andrew Pledger earned first place, Alex Arrowood, second place and Austin Wise, third. In the junior competition, Addy Knepp earned second and Luke Arrowood third.

We would like to show our gratitude and appreciation to Forsyth County Farm Bureau who sponsored the team.
