Using cloth and other objects from the Wake Forest University Museum of Anthropology collections, teens will examine West African Adinkra symbols. These simple symbols represent positive values including strength, protection, and both physical and mental well-being.
At 2 pm on Wednesday, June 29, Museum Educator Tina Smith will guide teens in creating their own designs on tiles using their choice of Adinkra symbols.
