Friends Book Discussion Group Meets Saturday, June 11, 10:30 am at Walkertown

Please join Friends to discuss The Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc. Mark Twain called this book "best of all my books--and it is the best." Twain helps us understand what happened to Joan in a very personal and accessible story, describing her youth, as army commander, and as a defendant. Written in 1896, today his last novel is hardly read. Join us as we discuss this biography of one of history's most complex females. It is Twain's last completed novel, published when he was 61 years old.
