Balloon Lady to pop in July 22 in Walkertown

What kinds of amazing things can you make with balloons? The Balloon Lady will delight all ages with whimsical, colorful, inflated shapes when she performs in Walkertown on Wednesday, July 22nd at 2 pm.

The Balloon Lady--also known as Donna Pruett--has entertained thousands of children across the state. Besides her award-winning balloon creations, her visit might include music, storytelling, or engaging tricks that appeal to children of all ages. The event is open to the public and free, thanks to funding by Friends of Walkertown Library.

Donna's annual show is a tradition and a favorite among programs that promote and enhance summer reading. All attendees who have been reading (or listening, for younger library users) will receive a ticket as they enter for a raffle of a few of Donna's made-during-this-program balloon sculptures.

More small prizes for reading this summer will be distributed at the Chalk, Prizes, and Movie Program coming up at Walkertown Branch on Tuesday, July 28, starting at 1 pm.
