FEEL THE FUNK! Movies about African-American Musicians

Monday, February 23, 4:00-8:30pm in the Clemmons Library Auditorium

In honor of Black History Month, we're screening a pair of critically-acclaimed films about African-American musicians. The first, beginning at 4:00, is a 2010 documentary about Conrad "Prof" Johnson and the impact he had upon the award-winning Kashmere High School jazz band from Houston. The second, starting at 6:00, is the 2014 James Brown biopic starring Chadwick Boseman as the "Godfather of Soul".

Popcorn and soda will be provided. All ages are welcome.
