History, Shakespeare, Austen, Suspence and More!

Meet Charlies Lovett, author of First Impressions and The Bookman's Tale, January 8th, 12 noon @ the Kernersville Branch Library

"Charlie Lovett’s novel, The Bookman’s Tale, masterfully interweaves art history and literary history with a haunting tale of romance and deception. Alternating between Shakespeare’s time, the Victorian Era, and the present day, Lovett offers both a heartwarming chronicle of a shattered widower’s return to the world of the living and a salute to the magical power of books." Mr. Lovett's latest novel, First Impressions, is another dual narrative of Sophie Collingwood’s quest to uncover the truth about the authorship of Pride and Prejudice as well as a family murder and a young Jane Austen’s friendship with elderly pastor Richard Mansfield. This thriller/literary suspense/romance is compelling and satisfying. The weaving of fact and fiction drives the narrative.

The author will be on hand to discuss his work as well as sign copies. No registration is required.
