Forsyth County EMS attends disaster training

Several members of Forsyth County Emergency Services(FCES) traveled to Emmitsburg, Maryland for disaster training. The training hosted by FEMA's Emergency Management Institute, lasted a week and culminated into a day long final exercise. Representatives from other agencies included emergency management, fire, police, hospital personnel, appointed representatives and elected officials. The training allowed personnel from various agencies to network, provided an enhanced understanding of roles during a disaster, and established capabilites for local agencies.
