This Week in Summer Reading!

As we prepare to welcome in July and Independance day, remember to have fun at your favorite library location. We have all sorts of programs for kids, teens, and adults at each of our ten libraries. It's fun to travel around to the different libraries, and summer is a great time to do that. Here's just a small sampling of what's happening this week.

On Monday, June 30th @ 7:30pm, gather together in front of the Central Library (5th Street entrance) before heading out on a stargazing walk around downtown. The Forsyth Astronomical Society will lead the night sky tour. No registration is required. This program is for all ages. Rounding out the week, there are 2 programs that are perfect for the budding artist in you. At 3 PM, the Lewisville Branch Library will have a Sharpie Tie-Dye event. Just bring a white t-shirt or other white garment. For ages 8+. also at 3 PM, The Central Library's Teen Central department will host a Music from Objects workshop. Take regular materials and transform them into musical instruments. Choose any or all of them--library programs are free!

Kids and Teens here's a special achievement code for this week: Halfway. Come back each week for a new code and like our Facebook page for even more codes.
