Foreign Film Series at Central Library

The world of cinema is coming to the Central Library Auditorium. Please come and join us on four Monday nights in October, and experience the cinema of Belgium, Taiwan and Germany with these diverse films. And as always, the movies are free and open to the public.

October 7, at 7 pm. From Belgium. A poor young woman living in a trailer park with her alcoholic mother is desperate for a normal life. 1999. Rated R. “Unflinching in its realism.” - Dennis Schwartz. Cannes Film Festival winner - Palme d'Or and Best Actress.
