Oct. 23rd at 7 pm in Room 4.- Mutual Fund Investing for Retirees and Near Retirees. Join us to hear Dr. Larry Hungerford's recommendations on no-load mutual funds. Dr.Hungerford and his son Steve Hungerford will answer questions about how to use no-load mutual funds as investment tools during retirement. These are funds which can be bought, sold, or exchanged with no fees associated with the transactions. The acknowledged local expert on mutual funds, Dr. Hungerford has been drawing crowds at area libraries for over 25 years. Dr. Hungerford encourages investors to use free Library resources like investment newsletters and online resources to keep up with their investments. With a valid library card, you have access to the Morningstar Mutual Funds newsletter and other online financial resources, such as Value Line, Business Source Complete, and Hoover's.
