Food for Fines is Back!

In honor of National Library Week (April 8th-14th) The Forsyth County Public Library is excited to announce that we’re bringing back our very popular Food for Fines campaign. The program is designed to help customers pay off any fines they may owe the Library while performing a great community service at the same time. Starting April 1st – 30th for every non-perishable food item you bring to a library location we will forgive a dollar in DVD/VHS fines from your account. Bring in two items and we’ll forgive two dollars and so on.

Only unexpired, non-perishable food items will be accepted during this period. All collected food items will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank to help in the fight against hunger in our community.
