In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone

Famous early American frontiersman Daniel Boone led one of the fullest and most eventful lives in U.S. history. Daniel Boone’s indomitable frontier spirit combined with his many exploits including the exploration and settlement of Kentucky made his one of the earliest folk and most revered figures in early American history.

Author Randell Jones will give a presentation on Daniel Boone based on his award winning book In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone. The author will take readers to the places where Boone lived, hunted, fought, and dreamed of the next frontier. Learn how two of Boone's sons were killed by Indians, how he rescued his kidnapped daughter from Shawnee captors, where his brother was slain by Indians who mistook him for Boone, how he tricked a British governor, and where he was court-martialed on charges of treason.

Make plans for an evening of fun, drama and inspiration from an American original, Daniel Boone.
