David Bare has been the garden columnist for the Winston-Salem Journal for 11 years. He was assistant horticulturist at Old Salem prior to becoming greenhouse manager at Reynolda Gardens where he has been for 10 years.
Bare will talk about the Kitchen Garden Project at Reynolda. This garden is an attempt to represent an intensively managed garden growing vegetables, herbs and flowers as an ornamental alternative to the energy consumptive front lawn.
Please join us, along with The Garden Spot of the World Garden Club, for this special evening.
