National Gaming Day @ the Library

Forsyth County Public Library will join with hundreds of libraries across the country on Saturday, November 14th for the second annual celebration of National Gaming @ your Library. National Gaming Day @ the Library is a national initiative supported by the American Library Association. FCPL will offer special gaming programs and events suitable for the entire family.

“Libraries are becoming family destinations, and are continuously offering new formats and innovative programs and services that educate, entertain and expand interaction with their users,” said Nastasha Johnson, Teen Library Coordinator. “Gaming is yet another example of how libraries are becoming more than just educational resources for the communities that they serve. They are also places where users of all ages are welcome to have fun together.”

Teen Central department of the Central Library will also compete in an online national Super Smash Brothers tournament. Call Teen Central 703-3080 for more information.
