Adinkra Symbol Making

Adinkra symbols are African symbols that convey traditional wisdom, aspects of life or the environment. These symbols were traditionally printed on different fabrics and walls not only for decoration, but also as a way of communicating something about the wearer of the symbol. On February 28th at 5:00 pm, we will be printing andinkra symbols on different fabrics and discussing the meanings behind each symbol. Find the symbol that best represents you!
