African American Read-In

The Read-In is a way to highlight the diversity of African-American writers through public readings of their work. 2016 marks the 27th year for this national event. The Black History Month theme is Hallowed Grounds. Several selections will be read which highlight this theme. Participants can sign-up to read or just come and listen. There will be brochures and other handouts for all ages celebrating literacy and the contributions of African American writers.
