Updated Public Health Online Resources

A comprehensive Pregnancy and Families with Young Children (birth to age 5) Resources in Forsyth County guide has been updated in English and Spanish. They are now available on the Forsyth County Department of Public Health's Publications page under Infant Health.

The purpose of the resource guide is to provide a list with a wide range of services for pregnant women and parents with young children in one place. The lists include community resources and services by topics such as agencies that provide pregnancy tests, prenatal care providers, pediatricians, community dental care providers, fatherhood services, parenting classes, breastfeeding support, child care resources, family support and education, housing, hospitals, and much, much more.

The resource guides were a collaborative effort between the FCDPH, Imprints, Work Family Resource Center, and the Sara Lee Center for Women's Health. You can print the lists from the website for personal use. For further information, you can contact Phyllis D'Agostino at 336-703-3206.
