Rural Hall Chair Exercise Program

Think you can't get a great workout sitting down? Join us and find out how you can build strength and flexibility, as well as improve your cardiovascular health, simply by exercising in your chair.

The Forsyth County Department of Public Health offers a free chair exercise class at the Rural Hall Library every Monday and Friday at 10 am. This program is designed especially for seniors and adults who have or are at risk for developing a chronic disease. A variety of exercises incorporating resistance bands and hand weights keeps this 40 minute workout fun and interesting.

This energetic and fun-loving group always welcomes new members, so feel free to drop in and join us at any time!
