The Forsyth County Public Library will host two North Carolina award-winning YA authors, Amber Smith and Frank Morelli, throughout June, July, and August. Both authors will share with us their writing processes, inspirations, and latest works. Books and book signing will be available at the close of the event. Registration is not required. Ages 12 and up.
Wise Guys is a program of the Children's Home Society of NC, that helps young men examine their values and goals so that they can make healthy choices in their relationships. Meetings will be Aug. 8, 9, 10, and 11 from 2-3:15 p.m. each day at the Central Library. Recommended for male-identifying participants ages 12-18. Registration required.

Julia Hood, Reynolda House Museum of American Art's manager of school and family learning, will talk about her job and careers in the museum field on Monday, July 11 from 6-7 p.m. at the Central Library. She’ll also offer ways for teens to be involved with museums. Recommended for ages 12-18 and their families. Registration recommended, but not required.
Learn about kitchen safety and healthy recipes from a professional chef, Floyd Davis in July and August. You will prepare a different dish together each class. No experience in the kitchen needed. Registration and a program waiver is required.
