Photograph Collection

A very special collection of photographs is housed at Central Library as a part of the North Carolina Collection. Most feature people, events, buildings, and street scenes of Winston-Salem and surrounding areas, and they date back as far as the late 1800s.

Questions about these and other photographs in the collection can be directed to Karen Feeney, NC Collection Supervisor, at (336) 703-3071 or at feeneyke@forsythlibrary.org. Permission must be obtained from the Photograph Collection Librarian to use the photographs in any form.
