The Clemmons Branch Library is open for limited browsing and borrowing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Only 10 people are allowed inside at a time. In the near future the library will close at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To-go pickup of reserved items is available at additional times.

So what is #ownvoices? Maybe you’ve seen the hashtag on Twitter, or heard other readers talking about it. Not a new concept, the hashtag was coined in 2015 by author Corinne Duyvis, who wanted a way to share books whose main characters represented varied groups of people, and were also penned by writers who shared the same diversity as their main characters.
