The Forsyth County Family Planning Clinic is funded by the county, state, and federal government. The purpose of this clinic is to offer individuals comprehensive family planning and preventive health services. Birth control information, supplies, and services are provided to those wanting and needing them. Low-income families are given priority. Our purpose is to help plan pregnancies, prevent unintended pregnancies, reduce infant mortality, improve health, reduce health care costs, and help build a better future for women, men and children. All services are confidential. An adolescent clinic is available for teens and interpreters are also provided for non-English speaking clients.
We offer our services to all women and men of child-bearing age and are teen-friendly. Women and men with Health Choice, Health Check, Medicaid, no insurance, low income and no income may attend this clinic. Being a resident of Forsyth County or North Carolina is not a requirement to visit the Family Planning Clinic.
A sliding fee scale is used to determine charges. Payment is determined by family size and income. Income documents are required such as: (2) paycheck stubs, W-2 forms, Employer Worker’s Compensation forms, or unemployment benefit documents. Payment is due on the day of the appointment, unless arrangements are made with the cashier prior to the visit.
