September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month. What better time to get your library card? Whether you are getting your first library card, or renewing your old one, we can help get you set up with full free access to everything the library has to offer.
The Tuesday at Two Book Club meets every first Tuesday of the month at 2 p.m. The books are selected by the members and are a mixture of fiction (all genres) and nonfiction. This is a perfect group to join to socialize and discuss books. The group will meet virtually via Zoom. Attendees will need to create a Zoom account or download the app on their mobile device. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. Click on this story to find the meeting link.
National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan effort designed to celebrate and put the spotlight on registering eligible Americans to vote. With a historic presidential election ahead of us, every eligible American voter should exercise their right to be heard at the ballot box. Whether a person has never voted before or doesn’t know if they are even allowed to vote, National Voter Registration Day is the right day to get started.
We welcome you to an orientation to Foundation Directory Online where you will acquire techniques for searching the database and researching potential funding to support your nonprofit organization’s mission and programs.
We want to recognize and congratulate all of our Summer Reading winners from the Lewisville Branch Library. Thank you for participating.
