African American Read-In

The Read-In is a way to highlight the diversity of African American writers through public readings of their work. 2013 marks the 24th year for this national event. Participants can sign-up to read or just come and listen. There will be brochures and other handouts for all ages celebrating literacy and the contributions of African American writers.

This fun, free, family event is sponsored by: Kernersville Friends of the Library, After 5 Readers Book Club, and Theta Mu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Inc.
