Just in time for the holidays, popular local abstract artist, Amy Guerrini, is back with a brand new art exhibit at the Lewisville Branch during the months of November and December. Her unique style of acrylic and oil pouring creates magical art pieces that truly capture the eye. Stop by the library to view the collection and perhaps take one home.
Lunch and Learn: What do the results of genealogical DNA testing really mean? Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Noon to hear what Dr. Andrew Gurstelle from the Lam Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest University can tell us about the basics of genealogical DNA testing and how DNA can be tied to cultural identity. Participants may attend in person (limited capacity) or virtually via Zoom. Registration required for in-person attendance.
Join us Monday, Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. for our monthly Family Film. We'll be showing "The Muppet Christmas Carol" produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
