The Walkertown Branch Library is hosting a display by Matthew Johnson, bookbinder and conservator from Kernersville, NC. The display includes tools that Johnson uses to make and conserve books, pamphlets, and other paper items. Also featured are items that Johnson has made for friends and family, as well as works in progress that demonstrate his process from start to finish.
Did you know that there’s a book sale every day at the Walkertown Library? We had a lot of pre-covid donations from our generous patrons, and the Friends organized it into our wonderful book sale. Come take a look! It’s much cheaper than even a used bookstore, and you'll help the library.
