The NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) has received a letter from the federal government saying that November food (FNS) benefits might be delayed or changed if the government shutdown continues.

A Forsyth County Food Safety Forum will be held on Nov. 17 from 9-11 a.m. at the Forsyth County Department of Public Health, 799 Highland Ave. There is also a Spanish version of the forum that will be held on Nov. 10 from 9-11 a.m. at Forsyth Public Health.
