August Detention Staff Members of the Month

Sergeant S. Green, Corporal E. McDaniel, Officer B. Williams, and Officer K. Tinsley are selected as Detention Staff Members of the Month for their actions on August 18, 2025. On this day, Officer B. Williams and Officer K. Tinsley responded and found an inmate unresponsive in a cell. Officer Williams announced unresponsive. Officer Williams and Officer Tinsley administered sternum rubs in an attempt to get a reaction from the inmate. Sergeant Green and Corporal McDaniel arrived on post. Sergeant Green assessed the inmate and noticed she was breathing. She proceeded to remove the inmate from the bunk and place her on the floor. Sergeant Green initiated CPR without hesitation. Sergeant Green performed several rounds of chest compressions. Corporal McDaniel relieved Sergeant Green. He performed several rounds of chest compression until he was relieved by medical personnel. These officers assisted in life-saving measures that enabled the inmate to recover from her ordeal. The actions of these officers went above expectations and should be commended.
