On November 15, 2020, Officer A. Reynolds was escorting a resident to his assigned cell in the special needs and management housing unit. The resident attempted to pull away from Officer Reynolds and jump from the mezzanine level of the housing unit. Officer Reynolds maintained control of the resident and secured him until assistance arrived on scene. Due to Officer Reynolds quick thinking and actions, he managed to prevent this resident from doing severe personal injury to himself and quite possibly saved his life.
