On November 23rd, Detention Officer Cheek discovered a pair of steel knuckles and 20.8 grams of marijuana in a holding cell at the Magistrate's office. When a male subject requested to use the restroom, Detention Officer Cheek followed proper procedure and found the contraband items. Detention Officer Cheek's attention to detail and use of his training knowledge prevented unsafe items to enter the LEDC.
