Air quality is Good across the Triad on Thursday. The dry weather is expected to continue with high temperatures in the 80s as surface high pressure remains in control. Winds will be light for the next couple of days which will promote air mass stagnation and fine particle concentrations are expected to climb into the lower Code Yellow range through Sunday. Despite a relatively dry air mass and plenty of sunshine, ozone production is quite low across the broader region and with a day length similar to mid to late March, averages are expected to net out in the Code Green range each day.
