Black History Month : "When Courage Becomes Contagious," a Play about the Right to Vote

Carver School Road Library has started Black History Month early! We feel as if everyday, every month is BHM. We would personally invite you to a special program that will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 6:00 pm. Mrs. Felecia Piggott-Long and The Imani Players, will be presenting "When Courage Becomes Contagious." This is a reader's theater/play re-enactment of the voter's registration movement, that took place during the Civil Rights Movement. Mr. James Leach and the Kemet Academy Steppers all of Emmanuel Baptist Church here in Winston Salem NC, will be performing a routine. All are welcome to attend!
